The EVECTRIX out of the box and intelligent electrical load management panel enables everyone to utilize a heat pump and even an EV-charger for their residential project despite having a limited available electric power.
The NEX-EVHP-3CH|4CH is an advanced electrical load management system equipped with three Nema 50A single-phase contactors, allowing it to connect to three 208/240V appliances, each up to 40A. This makes it ideal for scenarios where the electrical panel lacks the capacity for a direct connection.
The system offers both networkable mode for townhouses and standalone mode for single-family homes. It includes a real-time clock in networkable mode, which is optional and deactivated by default.

MURBs Electrification Resolved by EVECTRIX Smart Load Management
PROBLEM
The primary challenge on MURB and TOWN HOUSE projects is a limited available electricity power on the main distribution electrical panel, which indeed cannot satisfy the growing EV-HP demand’s requirements.
Therefore, dedicating 40/50 Amp EV charger and Heat Pump load to each stall | unit that are all feeding from a limited main electrical panel is a significant challenge and in many projects almost impossible.
EVectriX Harmony smart panels are specifically designed to not only resolve the limited power capacity, but also facilitate the EV and HP demand on such MURB projects, through intelligently verifying available power, and priotorizing the demand.
SOLUTION
1- Designated EVectriX HARMONY EV /HP smart panels for each unit:
The EVectriX Harmony Smart Panel connects directly to the unit’s electrical panel with two Current Transformers (CT) sets to manage the real-time available consumptions.
When the total demand exceeds programmed threshold of the panel’s capacity , the Harmony Smart Panel intelligently manages the load by adjusting the heat pump’s thermostatic controls and, in some cases, temporarily disconnecting three major electric consumers, such as your EV Charger (the priority), the Dryer, or the DHW tank, based on pre-set logic or customer requirements. Therefore, once the total power consumption drops below 80% for more than 10-20 minutes (as directed by the Master Unit), the system seamlessly restores power to all the disconnected devices. Each Harmony Smart Panel can efficiently manage up to nine zones, including the Heat Pump, EV Charger, Dryer, and DHW tank (or Hot Tub / Jacuzzi etc.).
For the Town Houses and MURB projects, these individual panels will be networked together to the Master EVectriX ILMS Controller via CAT 6 cables, ensuring a reliable and synchronized operation.
2- EVectriX Central ILMS (Intelligent Load Management System)
The EVECTRIX Intelligent Load Management System (ILMS) represents a cutting-edge electric load balancing solution for any MURB or Townhouse projects.
It is equipped with an industrial-grade PLC to communicate among the EVECTRIX HARMONY smart panels at real-time. Therefore, the smart energy metering system is integrated into the main feeder to monitor the overall electricity consumption. The EVECTRIX ILMS will communicate the activation commands to the queued local HAMRONY smart panels located on each unit, initiating their operation sequences once the main feeder has a sufficient current to distribute across the building’s load management system.
When the demand from primary loads exceeds the designated ratio, the main system manage the loads on each local HARMONY panels.
