EVECTRIX Products Are Eligible for the BC Hydro EV Power Management Device Rebate

Selected EVECTRIX EV power management devices are included on BC Hydro’s list of rebate-eligible models. Eligible residential customers may receive a $200 rebate when an eligible EVECTRIX power management device is installed together with an eligible Level 2 EV charger. EVECTRIX solutions help manage the electrical demand created by EV charging. Depending on the selected model, the system can share an existing branch circuit or monitor available electrical capacity, helping homeowners install EV charging without an unnecessary electrical-service upgrade.

Who May Qualify?

To qualify for the BC Hydro rebate, the applicant must generally: Be a BC Hydro customer living in a detached home, row home, duplex or mobile home.

Install an eligible EVECTRIX power management device. Install an eligible Level 2 EV charger. Obtain an approved electrical permit. Have the charger and power management device installed on or after December 1, 2023.

A qualified electrical contractor should assess the property’s available electrical capacity and determine which EVECTRIX solution is appropriate for the installation.

How to Apply

A separate application for the power management device rebate is not required. Customers apply through the applicable B.C. home EV charger rebate program. When the application is approved and all eligibility conditions are satisfied, the power management device rebate is added to the rebate payment.
