The Harmony EVHP Smart Panel is an intelligent energy management system that enables homes, townhouses, condominiums, and multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs) to safely add EV chargers, heat pumps, domestic hot water tanks, dryers, and other electrical loads without requiring costly electrical service upgrades. It continuously monitors electrical demand and intelligently manages connected loads in real time.

Many buildings do not have enough spare electrical capacity to support electrification.

Instead of upgrading the electrical service—which can cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars—the Harmony Panel intelligently manages available power, allowing buildings to electrify safely while staying within the existing electrical capacity.

  • Detached homes
  • Duplexes
  • Fourplexes
  • Townhouses
  • Condominiums
  • Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURBs)
  • Small commercial buildings

In many projects, yes.

By intelligently managing electrical loads, Harmony can often eliminate the need for upgrading the electrical service or main distribution panel, significantly reducing project costs. Actual results depend on the building’s load profile and available electrical capacity

No.

Harmony does not increase the available utility power. Instead, it optimizes how that power is shared between electrical loads.

Harmony communicates through the EVECTRIX Smart Touch Panel, allowing it to:

  • Adjust temperature setpoints
  • Change operating modes
  • Control fan speed
  • Schedule night setbacks
  • Lock Touch Panel settings when required

Instead of simply turning the heat pump OFF, Harmony can intelligently reduce its electrical demand whenever possible

No.

Harmony’s first priority is to modulate the heat pump using intelligent Touch panel control.

Only if additional load reduction becomes necessary will lower-priority loads be temporarily managed.

Harmony is designed to work with many heat pump systems, including:

  • Air-to-Air Heat Pumps
  • Air-to-Water Heat Pumps
  • Ducted systems
  • Ductless mini-splits

Compatibility depends on the HVAC manufacturer and communication interface.

Yes.

Harmony intelligently manages Level 2 EV chargers while coordinating them with:

  • Heat pumps
  • Domestic hot water
  • Dryers
  • Other controlled loads

Normally no.

Harmony only reduces or pauses charging when necessary to prevent the building from exceeding its available electrical capacity.

Charging resumes automatically once capacity becomes available.

Yes.

Harmony can temporarily delay or manage domestic hot water heating during electrical peak demand while maintaining occupant comfort.

Each suite receives its own Harmony Panel.

All Harmony Panels communicate with the EVECTRIX Intelligent Load Management System (ILMS), which monitors the building’s main electrical service and coordinates load management across all suites. A single ILMS can support up to 255 Harmony Panels.

Yes.

Each Harmony Panel monitors and controls its own suite while coordinating with the central ILMS to protect the building’s overall electrical capacity.

No.

Harmony is installed as an intelligent load management panel that works alongside the building’s electrical infrastructure.

No.

Harmony operates locally for real-time load management.

Optional remote monitoring and firmware updates may require internet connectivity depending on the installation.

No.

Harmony can communicate using hardwired network connections, providing reliable operation without depending on Wi-Fi.

Yes.

Harmony continuously monitors electrical demand and actively limits peak loads, helping buildings stay within available electrical capacity.
